Shaping the future of mobility.

The Autonomy Mobility Innovation Awards has recognised new Innovations enabling transformation in the Mobility sector. It was open to all companies from all around the World presenting projects, products, solutions, ideas, or prototypes focusing on any of 7 industry themes of the Mobility ecosystem.


Where was it?

The challenge took place during
AUTONOMY MOBILITY WORLD EXPO 2023,
 
at Pavillon 6, Porte de Versailles
on March 23nd  2023

 How does it work?

21 companies have been pre-selected, and the winners will be annouced  on the AMWE Stage on March 23dr (3 from each industry theme)

 
8 winners received a prize with international recognition (1 from each industry theme, and 1 overall winner from the Public)

The awards ceremony took place at Autonomy Mobility World Expo on March 23dr from 4:45 pm to 5:30pm.

Patrick AYAD

Global Leader Mobility and Transportation at Hogan Lovells

Patrick Ayad leads the global sector group Mobility and Transportation at Hogan Lovells, heads Hogan Lovells global Strategic Operations, Agreements and Regulation (SOAR) practice area and is also the firm's Global Managing Partner Sectors. He is a global leading practitioner in the areas of international contract drafting, procurement and distribution law, as well as an experienced regulatory advisor. With more than 20 years of experience, Patrick brings considerable knowledge on both commercial and regulatory matters in all areas relating to the future of mobility, including Automotive, Transport and Logistics as well as Aerospace and Defense. Patrick has advised automotive manufacturers and major suppliers as well as new entrants to the mobility market across the globe on a broad range of legal issues. The fast developing field of autonomous, connected, electric and shared vehicles is a current focus of his work. He is highly recognized in his field by reputable directories such as Chambers, JUVE and Legal 500, according to which Patrick has an ""excellent reputation in the automotive industry."

Stefan CARSTEN

Consultant

Dr Stefan Carsten is a futurist and urban geographer. He was a project manager at Daimler AG Research & Technology, where he designed new mobility services such as car2go and moovel. He is currently on the advisory board of the Federal Ministry of Transport for "Strategic Guidelines for Public Transport in Germany", the IAA Mobility in Munich and the Reallabor Radbahn in Berlin, among others. Since 2019, he has published the Mobility Report in cooperation with the Zukunftsinstitut. He is the curator of the Autonomy Berlin City Summit and the Future Forum of the Bus2Bus. He works with various players in the mobility ecosystem: with the bicycle industry, public transport companies, the automotive industry as well as cities and municipalities. He is married, has two children and lives and works in Berlin.

Head of European Affairs at Transdev

As Head of European Affairs for Transdev Group, Mihai Chirca is responsible for promoting the company's expertise in public transportation and raising awareness among European institutions. His areas of expertise include ecological transition, innovation, digitalization (data, Mobility as a Service, ticketing), intelligent transportation systems, and autonomous vehicles. With his extensive experience and knowledge of the mobility market, Mihai advises executives on the company's global influence strategy related to European public affairs and supports Transdev's European business units in understanding regulations that impact them. He is committed to fostering collaboration and driving innovation in the public transportation industry...

Yann is a renowned expert in the mobility sector and has been at the forefront of many structural shifts in the sector. He was Deputy Ceo of Mobivia (Midas, Norauto, ATU) Co-Founder of the European Start-up Prize, Asian Mobility Challenge, the Moovelab @Station F. ❖ Board Member BMW Mobility Council. ❖ Expert for Solar Impulse Foundation and for EIC Scale-Up Europe Graduated from Sciences Po, HEC Paris and Institut des Futurs Souhaitables.

Karen VANCLUYSEN

Secretary General at POLIS Network

Karen Vancluysen was appointed as Secretary General of POLIS in September 2014, after having been the network's Research Director for 8 years. Prior to that, she worked as network manager at ACCESS-Eurocities and as project manager at Langzaam Verkeer, a Belgian centre for mobility management. Since 1998, Karen has been involved in European urban transport networking and policy activities, and EU research and innovation projects covering a wide range of urban mobility topics. She has been a speaker and moderator at many high-level events in Europe and beyond, on a wide range of urban mobility themes approached from the perspective of cities and the governance of innovation. POLIS is the leading European network of cities and regions on urban transport innovation. For over 30 years already, members have been working together to develop and deploy sustainable and innovative urban mobility solutions for the city of today and tomorrow.

Véronica RAMIREZ DEL VALLE

Operations director Smart City Cluster Spain

European Doctor of Science with training in Business Creation and Management of Innovative Companies from the San Telmo International Institute with 20 years of experience in innovation ecosystems and support for SMEs in their competitive positioning strategy. Since 2016, she has been working at the Smart City Cluster, a national alliance of smart cities industry, where she holds the position of Operations Manager, promoting cooperation between SMEs in the Smart City industry in response to the challenges of cities and territories. She promotes cooperation between SMEs in the Smart City industry in response to the challenges of cities. From the cluster, she has made a strong commitment to lead as a cluster the R+D+i that has to respond to the transformation of cities, having participated in more than forty industrial research and experimental development projects...
