Conditions of use

1 – Copyright – links to external sites

All elements on the Site (images, animated images, databases, trademarks, illustrations, logos, drawings, models, layouts, downloadable documents) are protected as intellectual works by French and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property. Unless prior written authorization has been given from AUTONOMY, any reproduction, representation, adaptation, partial or complete modification of any element composing the Site, by any means whatsoever, is forbidden under penalty of legal proceedings. For any request for authorization, the user may send an e-mail to the following address: contact@autonomy.paris

However, the reproduction of a quote from a text appearing on the Site is authorized in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Intellectual Property. The use of quotations is subject to certain conditions:

– it must necessarily be short and will be assessed according to the size of the articles, news items and files published on the Site;

– it must be justified by its critical, polemical, educational, scientific or informational nature;

– it must clearly indicate the name of AUTONOMY as the source.

Any links appearing on the Site and referring to external sites are provided for information purposes. AUTONOMY shall not be held responsible for the content of these external sites.

2 – Trademarks and logos

The trademarks and logos reproduced on the Site are protected by trademark and/or design law. Any reproduction, republication or redistribution of the trademarks or logos, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever, without prior written authorization from AUTONOMY is prohibited.

3 – Creation by third parties of links to the site

AUTONOMY authorizes the creation of a hypertext link to the content of the Site, provided that AUTONOMY is expressly informed beforehand by an e-mail to the following address contact@autonomy.paris and provided

– that the hypertext link opens the Site in a new browser window. It is forbidden to integrate on another site all or part of the content of the Site by the use of the frame technique (“Frame”);

– that access to the pages containing the hypertext link to the Site is free of charge;

– that the hypertext link leads to the home page of the Site. It is forbidden to use the deep linking technique;

– to mention the source with a hypertext link allowing any user to be redirected directly to the targeted content.

Please note! This authorization does not apply to sites disseminating information of a polemical, pornographic, xenophobic nature or which may, to a greater extent, undermine public order and morality.

In any case, AUTONOMY reserves the right to request the immediate removal of the link created to the Site without having to indicate any particular reason. It is specified that this authorization does not imply authorization to reproduce all or part of the content of the Site, in particular a title or a cap for the naming of the hypertext link.

4- Use of the site and services

Obligations of the user:

The user undertakes to respect the legal and regulatory provisions in force, in particular not to use the Site and its services to write, transmit or communicate any message, information or content that is illicit, of any nature whatsoever, and in particular outrageous, insulting, defamatory, abusive, violent, obscene or pornographic, or including provocation to discrimination or hatred on the basis of race, religion, sex, or other, provocation to crimes and misdemeanors, or apology for crime, or of a nature that may alter the functioning of computer systems. The user is forbidden from any infringement of competition law.

Similarly, the user agrees to respect the rights of third parties, including the right of everyone to privacy, and any intellectual property rights (copyright, neighboring rights, rights on databases, trademark law, patent law, designs or models, trade secrets …).

The user also undertakes not to usurp any quality, attribute or identifier of a nature to mislead or create any confusion as to his identity.

Finally, the user undertakes not to disseminate via the Site any unsolicited messages of an advertising, promotional, chain mail or other type.

The user is solely responsible for the use he makes of the Site and its services.

In particular, the use of information, messages or data of any kind available on the Site is the sole responsibility of the user. The decisions or actions that the latter would be led to take or to carry out in consideration of these cannot engage any other responsibility than his own.

The user is the sole judge of the completeness and usefulness of the content consulted. Consequently, he/she undertakes to use the Site and its services with discernment and bears the risks associated with their use.

The user agrees to submit to any measure implemented by AUTONOMY in application of the law in force.

Responsibility of the publisher:

AUTONOMY makes its best efforts to ensure the quality of the information it disseminates.

However, AUTONOMY shall not be held responsible for messages, information or content that it has not directly created or produced and in particular for their veracity, relevance, and in general for any error or omission that they may contain. Consequently, AUTONOMY cannot be held responsible for any damage that could result from it.

In general, the user accepts that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, AUTONOMY cannot be held liable for any damage whatsoever, direct or indirect, material or immaterial, and in particular for any loss of profit or data, resulting from the use of the Site and its services or from a visit to the Site.

AUTONOMY does not guarantee that the Site and its services will perfectly meet the user’s expectations, will not be interrupted, or will be relevant, exhaustive or free of any error.

Similarly, AUTONOMY disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, legitimacy, reliability or availability of the information contained on third-party sites referenced on its Site. AUTONOMY does not guarantee in any way the commercial success, the adaptation to the user’s needs and the respect of intellectual property rights of the information available on third party sites.

5 – Protection of personal data

Any personal information collected within the framework of the Site by AUTONOMY is subject to computer processing under the conditions indicated at the time of collection.

Users of the Site are required to comply with the provisions of the regulations in force relating to personal data, the violation of which is punishable by criminal penalties. In particular, they must refrain from collecting or using any personal information to which they have access, and in general, from any act likely to infringe on the privacy or reputation of individuals.
