Our Mission Statement : From Motorist to Mobilist

Our name AUTONOMY is a reminder that city mobility should drastically reduce its heavy dependence on fossil fuels. The shift from motorist to mobilist involves moving away from single car ownership to biking, walking and using public transport. Improving mobility while protecting the environment is possible!

Autonomy History & Milestones

  • In 2016 spurred by the Paris Agreement, Autonomy was founded as a platform for promoting sustainable mobility solutions and fostering collaboration across the industry. 

  • In 2017, Autonomy hosted its first international exhibition and conference, Autonomy Paris bringing together over 8,000 mobility experts, policymakers, and enthusiasts from around the world.

  • In 2018, Autonomy launched its Community Site, a digital platform that provides a space for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration within the mobility community.

  • In 2019, Autonomy launched its Mobility Startup Challenge, a global competition that seeks to identify and support the most innovative mobility startups. 

  • In 2020 and 2021, Autonomy expanded its reach by launching its first virtual event, the Autonomy Digital Summit, which brought together over 10,000 participants from around the world. 

  • In 2022, Autonomy hosted the first edition of its international trade show Autonomy Paris at the largest Exhibition center in France, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. In this same year, Autonomy launched the first edition of the Berlin, Paris & London Mobility Summits. 

  • In 2023, for its 7th edition, the annual and leading trade show Autonomy Paris becomes AUTONOMY MOBILITY WORLD EXPO and will be hosting the second edition of the Berlin & London Mobility Summits.
