Autonomy allows us to present our charging infrastructure solutions to offer alternative mobility to communities and private players. As a French industrialist, Lafon wishes to promote charging solutions designed, developed and produced in France.
We expect during this edition to be able to discuss with organizations, companies and communities concerned with setting up infrastructures in the context of the energy transition.
In 2019, we participated in the Autonomy Show which allowed us to connect with different French and international alternative mobility players.

Monique Pluijm is an experienced and all round Consultant and Project Manager at Empaction, a parking and mobility consultancy in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She studied civil engineering at the University of Twente. She has over 15 years of experience in different areas, from digital parking to city parking management. In her daily work she often acts as an intermediary between government and market parties. For eight years she was the Chair of Vexpan, Platform for Parking in the Netherlands.
We have always exhibited at Autonomy with our group Mobivia-Via Id alongside numerous start-ups in new mobility. Autonomy is an important meeting to stay in touch with our customers, meet prospects and partners, but above all to discover the market’s most recent innovations.
We have, for a few months now, been presenting our new range of Flex bikes – which include numerous updates inspired by the learning from the 23 cities we supply, including Paris. We have evolved our services to better respond to the new challenges of our customers, needs of cities, operators and users. We are therefore looking forward to presenting these innovations and to receive market returns on them.
Because the COVID-19 crisis prevents us from meeting in person, and most of the sector’s meetings are postponed or cancelled, it was even more important for us to be present this year to keep in touch with all the players in the industry. The Autonomy platform also allows us to interact with participants and provides opportunities to speak. One digital event will not be able to reproduce the same effect as a physical one, but at least the messages will still get across, people with common interests will be able to interact, and business can continue. That is, above all, the role of a trade fair.

Nous avons toujours exposé à Autonomy avec notre groupe Mobivia-Via Id aux côtés de nombreuses start-ups des nouvelles mobilités. Autonomy est un rendez-vous important autant pour rester en contact avec nos clients, rencontrer des prospects et partenaires mais surtout pour découvrir toutes les innovations du marché.
Nous présentons depuis quelques mois notre nouvelle gamme de vélos Flex qui intègre de nombreuses innovations inspirées des apprentissages des 23 villes que nous fournissons dont Paris. Nous avons fait évoluer nos services pour répondre toujours mieux aux nouveaux besoins des villes, opérateurs et usagers. Nous avons donc hâte de présenter ces innovations et de recevoir les retours du marché sur celles-ci.
Parce que la crise nous empêche de nous réunir et que la plupart des rendez-vous du secteur sont reportés ou annulés, il était d’autant plus important pour nous d’être présents cette année pour rester en contact avec tous les acteurs du marché. La plateforme Autonomy permet d’interagir avec les participants et offre des occasions de prendre la parole. Un évènement digital ne pourra pas reproduire l’effervescence d’un événement physique mais au moins les messages passeront, les personnes qui ont des intérêts en commun pourront interagir et le business peut se poursuivre, c’est avant tout cela le rôle d’un salon.

In the EU Project ‘MORE’ he is facilitating the co-design and testing of innovative street layouts in five cities to make more efficient use of limited road space.

Geotab is a family business committed to reducing particulate matter and CO2 emissions through professional vehicle fleets that are more adequate and optimized for their customers and missions.
In 2020, trends in favor of the quality of life at work, the environment and the digitization of services to people and businesses have accelerated. Geotab gives value to data and wishes to share its analyzes with sustainable mobility players connected to Autonomy 2020.
In October 2019, we presented new products, meanwhile, 800,000 additional vehicles are connected to the Geotab platform and use them. Connected to 2.2M vehicles including EVs, Geotab will announce other novelties and present how its analyzes are directly useful for decisions.

We have seen Autonomy grow and have seen this event become the must-attend event in the mobility sector. Looking to become a major sustainable mobility actor in France, we absolutely wanted to participate in Autonomy 2020 to launch our application. We want to be an integral part of the Autonomy platform in order to make ourselves visible to all mobility players and to be recognized as a major player ourselves.
By participating in the 2020 edition, we hope to be able to promote the YUWWAY brand and meet mobility professionals. I decided to participate in Autonomy Digital 2020 because the show organisers decided early on to switch to a virtual format and have established the means to achieve it. The Autonomy team has risen to the challenge by putting in place all the ingredients that made the previous editions successful. I really had the impression of being able to experience so much wealth in this particular context which we all find ourselves living in.
I am a promoter of education and sharing, which are the ingredients that a market and its economy can properly develop while leaving space for each professional actor. It is also in this spirit that Autonomy was able to bring attention to micro-mobility very early on, first for the FP2M federation where I am a chairperson and now at Plume.
What am I expecting from this 2020 edition? Obviously a great success because Autonomy has not only solved the technical challenge, but has also been able to bring together all the players from across the mobility ecosystem so this 2020 event remains the meeting point for mobility. I can’t wait to be there !

J’ai réellement ressenti cette impression de pouvoir vivre autant de richesses dans ce contexte particulier que nous vivons tous.

As partners of the Horizon 2020 European project TInnGO « Transport Innovation Gender Observatory”, we contribute to the development of a framework and mechanisms for a sustainable game change in European transport through a transformative strategy of gender and diversity sensitive smart mobility. We strongly believe in the importance of social innovation when it comes to mobility, allowing for the creation of more inclusive services that foster the well-being of all members of our society.
Thanks to Autonomy, we will be able to present our work and reach a wider audience in the mobility sector that is often not aware of the importance of gender mainstreaming (1) when it comes to mobility. Planning transportation for all and designing innovative solutions for mobility requires a shift towards more inclusive designs, decision-making processes, training and employment opportunities.
Through TInnGO, LGI created an online observatory and collaborative platform that gathers all information and results of the project, promoting access to knowledge on gender related issues in transportation. Moreover, by coordinating the work of the French Hub, we conduct field activities and stakeholders’ engagement in the Paris Region, collecting data, analyzing existing research and raising awareness in order to advance gender equality and inclusion in transportation.
Autonomy Digital 2020 will be a key opportunity to learn more about the mobility ecosystem globally . We are looking forward to meeting transport professionals and debating with mobility actors from all branches of the sector in order to advance together towards a more sustainable and socially inclusive mobility offer.

Shin-pei Tsay’s work in policy and practice is focused on transforming the built environment so that it is more inclusive and sustainable. She is Director of Global Policy for Cities and Transportation at Uber where she leads a team focused on creating a sustainable, inclusive, and multi-modal urban future. Prior to joining Uber, she founded Make Public, a social impact analysis firm that specializes in the public realm and was executive director of Gehl Institute, a non-profit that advocated for public life and public spaces. Shin-pei has also served as the deputy executive director of TransitCenter, a national foundation focused on improving urban transportation; director of the Cities and Transportation Program under the Energy and Climate Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace; deputy director at Transportation Alternatives in New York City, and COO at Project for Public Spaces. Shin-pei served on the NYC Public Design Commission from 2016 to 2019. She taught urban design at Columbia University and Parsons School of Design and is currently a Director on the Board of the national non-profit ioby.
For ADEME, being a major player in the transition to a zero-carbon future – we considered it necessary to be a part of Autonomy’s digital international event, as it brings together all the main actors of sustainable and intelligent mobility. In addition to the current health and regulatory context, especially considering the new French mobility law (LOM), there are many challenges to be met. The complex landscape of mobility has a very heterogeneous ecosystem. This is why, ADEME, working daily to make the transition to sustainable mobility happen, had to be present at Autonomy Digital – to promote new mobility solutions and to influence strategic decisions for a low-carbon transition in the field of transportation – locally, nationally and internationally.
This French and international event is an opportunity for ADEME to exchange with professionals, from any sector, who are responsible for the mobility of today, but also of tomorrow. The presence of all types of players, including start-ups, transport operators, local authorities, and private decisionmakers, is a major asset. The rich exchanges that ADEME is looking to have will be a way to both learn from current experiences that are influencing future practices as well as promote the trends of tomorrow.
Autonomy Digital will allow ADEME to discuss two very important topics: inclusive mobility within the framework of the LOM and urban logistics across France. This year’s virtual set-up will also allow us to share our many materials (videos, interviews, etc.) but also to interact as an institutional partner with visitors and other exhibitors of the event through the live chat or business meetings function. In this context of sharing our strategy on transportation and mobility, this edition will also be an opportunity to recall our ambitions and our willingness to work as closely as possible with the players involved in creating the mobility of tomorrow.

L’ADEME acteur de la transition écologique et solidaire se devait d’être présente en s’associant à cet évènement international 100% digital 2020, qui rassemble tous les acteurs de mobilités durables et intelligentes. Outre le contexte sanitaire actuel et réglementaire avec la Loi d’Orientation des Mobilités (LOM) notamment, de nombreux défis sont à relever. Le paysage complexe de la mobilité fait appel à un écosystème très hétérogène. C’est pourquoi, l’ADEME en œuvrant au quotidien pour des nouvelles mobilités durables, se devait d’être présente pour promouvoir des solutions de mobilité et influencer les décisions stratégiques pour une transition écologique dans le domaine des transports, à l’échelle locale, nationale et internationale.
Cette événement à l’échelle internationale et nationale est une opportunité pour L’ADEME d’échanger entre professionnels, de tout secteur qui sont en charge de la mobilité d’aujourd’hui mais aussi celle de demain. La présence de tout type d’acteur, aussi bien des start-up, opérateurs de transport que des collectivités locales ou décideurs privés est un atout majeur. Ces échanges que l’ADEME souhaite riches seront un moyen à la fois de promouvoir les modes de demain mais également s’enrichir des expériences existantes qui influenceront les pratiques futures.
Le salon va permettre à l’ADEME, dans le cadre de la prise de paroles, d’évoquer deux sujets importants : La mobilité inclusive dans le cadre de la Loi d’Orientation des Mobilités (LOM) et la logistique urbaine dans les territoires. Le stand virtuel lui permettra également de mettre à disposition des outils de présentation de l’agence ainsi que différents supports (vidéos institutionnelles, études…), mais aussi d’interagir en tant que partenaire institutionnel avec les visiteurs et autres exposants du salon à travers le “chat” en direct ou les business meetings. Dans ce contexte d’actualisation de sa stratégie sur le Transports et de la Mobilité, cette édition sera aussi une opportunité pour rappeler nos ambitions et cette volonté de travailler au plus près des acteurs de la mobilité de demain.

As innovation forefront of DEKRA, one of the leaders in the TIC industry, a great part of our heritage derives from the automotive sector. As DEKRA DIGITAL, we are innovating safety by leveraging technology trends and creating new business models – translating our role as a neutral party into the digital age. Safety cannot taken for granted, we – as DEKRA – will make sure that we are able to enjoy the beauty of new digital technologies. Looking at Mobility as an obvious extension of automotive, one example is our “Micro Mobility Safety Standard”. It is a holistic approach to safety and sustainability for the ecosystem of e-scooters and other last-mile solutions.
Our motto is collaborate to innovate – innovation is a team sport after all. We are looking forward to meeting potential partners and engaging in fruitful discussions, including the cities that have a key role to play in shaping the future of mobility – as well as getting inspired by whatever is trending in the mobility and smart cities sectors right now.
Last year, our colleagues from DEKRA France sponsored the event, as partner of shared mobility providers in vehicle appraisal and claims handling services. Since late 90s, Mrs. Malin Andersson has been working with infrastructure, city planning and strategic environmental assessments at national, regional and local levels, always with sustainable development as a leading star and with science as a basis for decisions. As a former national strategist on sustainable transport at the National Transport Administration, she was involved in research agendas and long-term transport politics. Since 2013 Malin has had leading positions in the City of Gothenburg at the Urban Transport Administration. She is currently Manager of Development and International Affairs, responsible for innovation projects and triple helix collaborations concerning areas like electric vehicles, autonomous driving, connected infrastructure, geofencing, city logistics, digital twins and virtual testbeds.

Nicola Kane is Head of Strategic Planning, Insight and Innovation at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and spends most of her time thinking about what the future might hold, as her team works to develop and deliver a long-term transport strategy for Greater Manchester, covering the period to 2040 (www.tfgm.com/2040). Nicola is a chartered town planner (MRTPI) and qualified transport planning professional (TPP) and joined TfGM in 2014 after 15 years of working in consultancy. She has wide-ranging experience in transport strategy and policy development, development planning and travel behaviour change. She’s now enjoying the opportunity to help shape the future of transport in Greater Manchester. Nicola was awarded “Transport Planner of the Year” by Transport Planning Society in 2017 for her work in leading Greater Manchester’s 2040 Transport Strategy and the 2040 Strategy also won the EU’s “7th Sustainability Urban Mobility Plan award on multi-modality” in 2019.

Zuzana graduated in Economics, and holds M.A. degrees in European and international affairs.

Marijke De Roeck co-ordinates the stakeholder activities and behavioural change actions for the department of urban development in the city of Antwerp. Some of these activities focus on co-creating innovative solutions to tackle the mobility challenges in and around Antwerp, aka Smart ways to Antwerp. She is an expert in marketing, market research, campaigning and citizen engagement. She has an extensive experience with managing European funded projects, including the mobility projects CIVITAS PORTIS and SUMP-PLUS.
Boyd Cohen obtained his PhD in strategy and entrepreneurship in the University of Colorado in 2001. Since then he has balanced academic and entrepreneurial pursuits in the Americas and Europe. He has published three books on sustainable entrepreneurship and urban innovation and dozens of peer reviewed articles. Boyd moved to Barcelona in 2015 where he became Dean of Research at EADA Business School and then left academia behind as he co-founded Iomob, a next generation Mobility as a Service solution offered to major public and private transportation and travel industry organizations. Iomob has won several mobility industry awards, participated in prestigious accelerators including Techstars and Wayra and has deployed its technology integrating major public and private mobility services throughout the world including in Sweden, Spain, the UK and New Zealand.

Previously, Andri Wienandts worked in Consulting and Energy Trading. Before entering the field of Mobility, he managed is own startup. He is an EMBA of the University of St. Gallen.

Pedro joined POLIS in 2019. He has worked for the development of sustainable urban mobility in Sofia for more than 15 years. He is also in collaboration with various European urban networks.
In 2013 Dan founded AppyParking and the aptly named AppyParking mobile app. To create the award-winning app, Dan and the team began building up the UK’s largest set of standardised kerbside data, a task that led him to realise the untapped potential lying under everyone’s feet. Pedro Machado represents the City of Lisbon as advisor for the Deputy Mayor of Mobility and Safety Miguel Gaspar. He follows subjects of mobility planning, shared mobility, electrical mobility, urban logistics or innovation. He accompanied a significant part of the mobility projects launched in Lisbon in the last 6 years. Pedro is a Mechanical Engineer by the University of Lisbon and the University of Glasgow. He was a researcher at the University of Lisbon and had a scholarship at the North Caroline State University, but spent most of his career linked to cities and local agencies, working in the fields of mobility and transport, environment, energy and climate. Along with all the local projects he coordinated, he was also involved in more than 25 European projects. He is a co-founder of the Portuguese national cyclist association MUBi. He is linked to several awarded projects, including 2 European Mobility Week Awards and the European Green Capital 2020.

Josephine works half of her time as a Project Manager within Geofencing and Sustainable Deliveries at CLOSER, a platform for project management and knowledge sharing around transport efficiency. Currently her project management role includes coordinating the Research and Development program for Geofencing together with her colleague Rodrigue Al Fahel with the Swedish Transport Administration, running the Challenge Based Innovation project “Smart Urban Traffic Zones” and managing the project “The Future Sustainable E-commerce System”. The other half of her time is spent in her role as Program Coordinator within the Strategic Innovation Program, Drive Sweden which focuses on driving the development for digital, automated and shared mobility systems. Here she focuses on both supporting the programs’ projects and coordinates events connected to programme activities such as workshops, match-making and conferences. Josephine originally has an engineering background from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and Instituto Superior Tecnico, Portugal.

Dr Thierry Goger is a senior executive in Transport Research and European Affairs. As FEHRL Secretary-General, the association of the European National Road Research Centres, Thierry is a strategist and an engaged broker for cooperative research and innovation, in the field of road and transport infrastructure. Thierry has also a solid experience in policy-briefing and research grant management, as well as in fostering the exploitation and implementation of research results. Prior to joining FEHRL, Thierry was the Science Officer for the Transport and Urban Development Domain at the COST Office – European Cooperation in Science and Technology. His expertise and advocacy are regularly solicited by the Industry, policy-makers and transport authorities. On the research front, Thierry has about 20 years of experience and is a Coordinator or Partner of several European projects, including the very innovative ERA-Net scheme “INFRAVATION”, where FEHRL has been a key enabling agent for transatlantic collaboration and funding.

Debbie Dekkers works as a project manager New Mobility at Chief Technology Office of Amsterdam. Innovation in local government has been a threat throughout her career, in which she strives to make the organizations and people she works for future-proof. Pascal Smet is State Secretary of the Brussels-Capital Region, responsible for Urbanism and Heritage, European and International Relations. Prior to becoming the Secretary of State, Pascal was Minister of Mobility and Public Works. In both positions, he gives shape to his dream of introducing sustainable urban development. That includes, among others, a reorganisation of public space. In other words, more space for public transport, cyclists and pedestrians. He has one great motivation and source of inspiration for his work in Brussels: the city itself.

Philippe Crist is Advisor for Innovation and Foresight for the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). His work focuses on disruptive urban mobility scenarios, including automated driving, and examines how car-based and active mobility, public transport and taxis must adapt to these. He leads ITF work on data science how to leverage new and rapidly growing data sources to improve transport decision-making and is investigating how policy and regulation might adapt to an increasingly algorithmically-driven world. His work also encompasses helping public authorities think about how public space allocation, including curb management, will change under new travel practices and business models.
We at OKAI believe that Autonomy in Paris has always been one of the important shows and gatherings when it comes to Micro Mobility and Shared Mobility. Many of our existing customers have attended the show in the past. We are looking forward to trying out the new ALL DIGITAL format during COVID19 and hope that we can make the most of it.
We are looking to use the event to showcase the new Okai EB100 Sharing Bike as well the matching Okai ES400B Sharing Scooter. Both vehicles run on the same battery and charging platform. Thus we are excited to see what kind of questions we might get from potential customers at Autonomy 2020.

Je ne vais pas vous mentir, vous n’êtes pas notre seul salon ni le salon autour duquel nous construisons notre saison. Il est tout simplement un des salons à la qualité et la fréquentation qui correspond à ce que nous recherchons.
Honnêtement, il est encore difficile de se prononcer quantitativement et qualitativement sur les salons virtuels. Cela reste encore une forme d’expérimentation pour tout le monde. Les salons ont toujours permis à Securaxis d’acquérir de nouveaux clients, nous en espérons donc autant pour Autonomy2020 digital.
Ce que j’attends peut-être pour une édition virtuelle, c’est une qualité encore supérieure en terme de présence et de contenu. Les visiteurs cette années ne sont pas « captifs” de l’événement, il n’y a pas d’unité de lieu. A la place de chercher sur le salon des innovations ou autre produit qui m’intéresse après avoir suivi une conférence, étant à la maison ou à mon bureau derrière mon ordinateur, je peux vaquer à d’autres occupations. Garder le visiteur en ligne sera tout le challenge, d’où cette nécessité de qualité encore accrue.

Autonomy is a true international trade show, which is what we were looking for. It brings together right mobility and smart city actors that interest us, both in terms of partners and potential clients. I could add that normally it is a benefit that the show takes place in Paris, which is an advantage for us coming from Switzerland, although this is no longer the case. I will be honest in saying that Autonomy is not the only event that makes up our season of trade shows that we attend, but it is one of the top events with a level of quality and attendance that corresponds to what we are looking for.
Honestly, it is still difficult to make definitive quantitative and qualitative statements about virtual trade shows. They are still in a period of experimentation of everyone, but trade shows have always allowed us to acquire new customers, so we hope the same for Autonomy Digital.
What I am perhaps expecting for a virtual edition is an even higher level of quality in terms of presence and content. Visitors this year are not ‘captive’ at the event for there is no unity of place. Instead of wandering the show in search of new innovations or another product that could interest me after attending a talk, being at home or at my desk behind a computer, keeping visitors’ attention will be more difficult. Keeping visitors online and engaged will be the challenge, hence the need for a higher level of quality.
Mov’eo brings together the main mobility players in the Normandy and Île-de-France regions, supporting and accelerating numerous SMEs and startups offering innovative mobility solutions. We are the largest French network of scientific, technical and industrial excellence where lasting partnerships are built between the different actors of the Automotive and Mobility ecosystems. It is therefore natural for us to be associated with the key annual event for sustainable urban mobility.

He has been conducting research at IDDRI since 2010 on a number of issues linking cities and the ecological transition: the transition to low-carbon cities and urban modelling; policies against fuel poverty (in housing and mobility) and affordable housing policies; analysis of the linkages between lifestyles and technical systems in the sustainable city project; and urban planning issues. Recently, he has developed a research series on digital cities, analysing data challenges in “smart” cities and the potential of urban crowdsourcing tools.
Mathieu is a graduate of ENSTA ParisTech and has a PhD in economics. He completed his thesis at Mines ParisTech under the supervision of P.N. Giraud on the planning of low-carbon cities.

Dominique Lagarde is a graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. After starting his career in Total Oil Marine in London and then in the French Nuclear Safety Authority from 1991 to 1997, he managed the Osiris nuclear reactor in the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) from 1997 to 2000. He joined EDF in 2000 in the EDF GDF Services Distribution division (which has become Enedis) where he held various positions. Appointed Executive Vice-President of EDF GDF Services Nanterre in 2001, he became an executive officer of EDF GDF Services Seine et Marne in 2002. At the end of 2003, he was appointed Executive Vice-President for Communication and Public Affairs of the Group. He was Director of the office of the Chairman in September 2004 and then Senior Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Coordination in March 2006. In May 2008, he became Human Resources and Communications Officer of EDF. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of ERDF (which is now Enedis) until 2010. Between 2010 and August 2015 he was Senior Vice President Nuclear Engineering, New Build & Development. From August 2015 to May 2018, he was Senior Vice President Strategy & Marketing, International Division. The first intelligent underground charging station for electrical vehicles.
The presentation shows the evolvement of a first idea, a prototype and a pilot model to finally result in a full functional StreetPlug. We take a closer look to the components of the charging station, the product specifications and the operation of the StreetPlug. Geovelo develops a free app dedicated to cyclists, which offers safer routes, personal statistics, reports, tourist rides… All the services that a cyclist can expect, whether he is an occasional rider or a daily one. Thanks to the community of users gathered on the application, Geovelo is then able to provide a lot of insights on the bike usage. The Geovelo dashboard helps cities to take better decisions when it comes to cycling infrastructure, and is a way for them to keep track of the effects of their policy on the usage. Geovelo is already working with 18 cities in France, and is starting to expand abroad, with a first collaboration with Geneva, and more to come in Europe.

In 2016, Laureline joined Le Crédit Agricole Group Consumer Finance, a major player in the European market, as a Group Chief Digital Officer. Her mission was to conduct transformation projects within different sectors: marketing, customer relationships, data and innovation. Laureline arrived at Uber in June 2019 to take on the General Manager role for JUMP France and Belgium, in order to develop JUMP dockless electric bikeshare and scooters service available in the Uber app.

Marc Granger has been the Chief Strategy Officer of Alstom since 2017. His role is to set up the company’s strategic plan and to drive its deployment across the organisation. This includes in particular the responsibility to design and manage the Innovation Strategy and activities, and to structure the M&A Strategy. Prior to his current role, Marc was the General Manager for PRASA’s overall activities and was the CEO of Gibela, the Alstom South African joint venture responsible for the delivery and introduction of 600 modern trains onto the SA rail network. From 2005 to 2010, he was CEO of Compin Group. Marc began his career with Alstom in 1985, where he gained extensive experience in product design, marketing, project tenders and management. Prior to joining SHARE NOW, Broesamle served as Chief Customer Officer at ReachNow in Seattle, WA, USA responsible for all customer facing activities and product management. Before that, he was BMW Group’s Global Head of Market Development for On-Demand Mobility. In that role Broesamle led the initial ReachNow launch in April and the implementation of new mobility services worldwide. Fredrik’s entrepreneurial career began at 12 years of age when he ran a number of commercial projects including forestry work (he grew up in rural Sweden), events and website sales. After graduating from high school, he attended the Armed Forces Interpreter Academy, within the intelligence branch of Sweden’s special forces, where he studied Russian and linguistics. He served a total of four years in Moscow in the Defence Attache Office, where he worked as an interpreter and analyst, covering Russia as well as Kazakhstan and Belarus. Adela Spulber is the City Relations/Business Development Manager at Daimler Mobility Services. In this role, she focuses on fostering relationships with cities and other public agencies to prepare the deployment of autonomous mobility services. Adela previously conducted research on shared mobility, autonomous and connected vehicles, and smart cities as a transportation analyst at the Center for Automotive Research (Ann Arbor, USA). Adela was also a project coordinator at the Cross-border Operational Mission (Paris, France), where her focus areas included cross-border economic development and public transit. Adela received a master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning and a bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences and European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris in France. She is fluent in several languages, including English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
Iain Macbeth is an expert on emerging trends and technologies in the transport sector. Iain was Head of Foresight for Transport for London’s Innovation directorate, where he sat at the nexus between transport solutions and the challenges that global cities face – population growth, economic and social issues, urban planning, and energy. His expertise covers drones, electric, connected and autonomous vehicles, car clubs, logistics, urban realm and behaviour change.
Sture is a project leader for the municipality of Oslo with an expertise in electric vehicles and
electromobility. Sture holds a Master in political science, and a bachelor in macroeconomics and
communication with a specialization in East Asia economic policy.
Prior to his current role, Sture had different professional experiences and positions, including Head of
Communications at the Munch Museum, Deputy Manager Art and Culture, Manager Sponsorships Arts
and Sports, Advisor Tourism and Business Development, and Advisor at the Korea Trade and Investment
Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
Caroline Parot, 47, is Europcar Mobility Group’s CEO, a major player in mobility markets, listed on Euronext Paris. She joined the Group in 2011 and was appointed CFO in March 2012. In 2016, she was appointed CEO of Europcar Group. The Group was renamed Europcar Mobility Group in May 2018, to reflect the transformation that Caroline is leading: leveraging its historical car rental business, the Group is now a “mobility service company,” providing a wide range of mobility solutions and services, thus offering alternative attractive solutions to vehicle ownership. Since 2017, Caroline Parot has been also a board member of Ingenico and more recently of Entreprises pour la Cité. Jonathan Marsh joined Transport for Greater Manchester in 2017 taking on the role of Strategic Planning Manager in the Transport Strategy Team. In his current role Jonathan is responsible for managing the development, coordination and championing of the Greater Manchester (GM) Transport Strategy 2040, our SUMP. Jonathan is currently leading work to develop a GM Streets for All strategy which has the key objective to design streets which balance the movement of people and goods with the creation of more people-friendly places. Jonathan previously worked in consultancy for almost twenty years, since graduating from the University of Salford with an MSc in Transport Engineering and Planning. Throughout his career Jonathan has always been passionate about people focused transport planning in an urban context.
Kathleen Bracke is the GO Boulder Manager and Interim Co-Director of Public Works for Transportation for the City of Boulder, Colorado USA. In her role in the city’s transportation division, Kathleen oversees the Planning, Policy and Programs, Operations, Capital Projects, and Maintenance departments. The city’s GO Boulder programs include multimodal transportation master planning, corridor planning, and programs to support walking, biking, and transit options for the Boulder community. Prior to working for the City of Boulder, Ms. Bracke was the Transportation Planning & Special Projects Director for the City of Fort Collins, Colorado for over 17 years. Before moving to Colorado, Ms. Bracke worked for the Transportation department of the City of Anaheim in Southern California, USA. Ms. Bracke has an undergraduate and Master’s degree in Urban Planning, specializing in Transportation, from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

Robert Llewellyn has appeared on British TV since the mid 1980’s. Red Dwarf (BBC) and Scrapheap Challenge (Channel 4) being the best known, but more recently his series Fully Charged has been gaining a large global audience. Robert first encountered electric cars in California in the early 2000’s when making the American version of Scrapheap Challenge. As an engineering enthusiast he was intrigued by the developments and started driving an electric car in 2009. Over the last 10 years he has driven every commercially available electric car and travelled the world to witness innovative technology as it starts to get a foothold in our global energy system. Robert’s home is now 70% powered by a mixture of solar and batteries, including charging 2 electric cars.

Globally, 19,000 people die every single day from air pollution. The annual number of deaths – 7 million – is far greater than those from HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and car crashes combined. And it is getting worse. Between 2005 and 2010, the death rate from air pollution rose by 4% worldwide. For Tim Smedley, an award-winning sustainability journalist for the Guardian, Financial Times and the BBC, air pollution at first was just another environmental story to file. But this story got under his skin and into his veins – literally, as it turned out. Clearing The Air is his quest to understand air pollution – what it is, what it does to us, and what we can do about it. The journey for the answers took him around the world, including Delhi, Beijing, Helsinki, and Paris. He returned with some harrowing stories and, surprisingly, a lot of hope – we have the answers to air pollution. We just need to implement them.
Christophe Najdovski was born in Paris, in 1969, from Macedonian parents. He graduated from the University Pantheon-Sorbonne with a Master in environmental economics. He started his carrier as a high school teacher of economics in Paris and its area. In 2013, he taught social politics in the
University Institute of Technology of Bobigny. In 1993, Christophe Najdovski joined the green party “Les Verts”. He became an advocate for the use of bicycle in the city and joined monthly demonstration to defend a better repartition of the public space.
In 2001, He was elected at the Paris City Council and named deputy mayor in charge of transports of Paris 12 th district. He thus contributed to the implementation of a green mobility policy with the creation of bus lanes, the weekly closing of the expressway on the Seine riverbanks and the launch of
the bicycle share system: “Vélib’ ”. Re-elected in 2008, Christophe Najdovski became deputy mayor of Paris, in charge of childhood policy. He created 4500 child care places and initiated environmental friendly approach in order to
reduce the ecological impact of nursery activities and to awaken the awareness of children, parents and professionals to adequate environmental practices.
In April 2014, Anne Hidalgo, new mayor of Paris, appointed him as deputy mayor in charge of transports and public space. His 4 main goals for the term of his mandate are: to reduce atmospheric pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, to promote a better mobility for everyone, regardless of age or social condition, to restore the passage of the Seine riverside and the canals banks, and to give back the public space to pedestrians and cyclists. Since 2018, Christophe Najdovski has been President of the European Cyclists’ Federation.
Siegfried Rupprecht, is the owner and Executive Director of Rupprecht Consult – Forschung & Beratung
GmbH. He has worked in sustainable urban development for over 25 years. His projects related to road
automation include CoEXist (planning for the transition phase of urban automation), a COST Action on
the impacts of road automation and a research project on regulation of disruptive technologies.
Gert Blom studied Economic Geography at Nijmegen University (NL). After working for 20 years as
a logistics manager and business unit manager for private companies in the Automotive and Food
sector, Gert changed job 15 years ago to start working for the city of Helmond (NL). First as Traffic
Department manager, now as strategic advisor mobility & coordinator international smart mobility
projects. Gert was chair of the National Host Committee for the ITS 2019 European Congress
Brainport, chair of the EIP-NMS Working Group on Intelligent Speed Assistance ISA and member of
Polis management committee. In 2011 Gert received on behalf of city of Helmond the EC iMobility
award “for excellence in policy making”.
Hilia Boris Iglesia has been the manager of the UITP Transport Economics Commission since 2013. She
works very closely with UITP members to advance UITP’s agenda in the field of the funding and financing
in public transport.
She has a background in Political Science and Economics from the University of Sussex and two
postgraduates in from Edinburgh University and University College London. She has previousy
collaborated with various international and European urban networks.
Anastasia is the Senior Innovation Manager at Hyundai, based in Seoul, South Korea. After setting up the framework for Hyundai Open Innovation & Accelerator activities in Europe, she now leads the program on behalf of Hyundai, specifically in the UK and France. Complementary to her core role, she also acts as the brand and innovation ambassador at Hyundai. From 2013-2016 Anastasia communicated Hyundai’s Brand Strategy globally for its subsidiaries and external partners; during this time she delivered 100+ hours of presentations around the world ( Korea, USA, Europe, India, Brasil, Turkey, Russia, Oman, KZ), to Hyundai subsidiaries, MBA guests and executive visitors.

Annick Trmata is the deputy head of directorate for public transport in the Luxembourg Ministry of
Mobility and Public Works. Her subjects are various, as this directorate is not only a public transport
authority, contracting and financing national public transport, but also a bus operator by managing the
regional road network “RGTR”. She deals with issues on fares and ticketing for more than 20 years.
Today, she is focusing on topics such as safety in public transport or transport solutions for persons with
Judith Ferrando is co-director of Missions Publiques, an independant agency of citizen dialogue to
improve governance and decision making. She has accompanied several citizens’ conferences and
citizen initiatives at many scales and on various public policy fields : sustainable development, urban
planning, mobility issues… She is currently a lecturer at the Panthéon Sorbonne University, as well as
co-chair of “L’Institut de la Concertation et de la Participation Citoyenne”, a platform for exchanges
between professionals and academics on public consultation and citizen participation.
Regina is the CEO and Co-founder of Populus, a data platform for cities to manage the future of mobility. Ross Douglas is a South African entrepreneur who started his working life making wildlife films and writing environmental stories. Highlights included making one of the first films on free-diving with sharks for National Geographic and writing for Africa Geographic on the proposed “Peace Parks in Mozambique”. He then used his film understanding to collaborate with acclaimed artist William Kentridge to produce “9 Films for Projection”, which was performed in New York’s Central Park, London’s Barbican and Berlin’s Guggenheim Museum. In 2008 he created the FNB Joburg Art Fair, the world’s first art fair for contemporary art from Africa and the most important annual gathering for the African art community.
Understanding impact of global warming on the environment, Ross Douglas wanted to use his media and event skills to encourage sustainable living. As road transport is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions, he decided to create an event that would bring all the new emerging technologies that radically reduce congestion and pollution onto one platform giving rise to Autonomy.

Onnibus.com introduced digital sales channels and aggressive demand based pricing and brought double decker high quality coaches to Finland. Onnibus.com took dominating market share of intercity buses in Finland and forced the national train company to change it’s business model as well. Onnibus.com received several national awards including the best customer experience in Finland.
Kyyti on demand ride sharing was awarded the best mobile service in Finland 2017. Renske has been working in the urban mobility field since 2007. She holds a master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations. Her work experience spans various governmental organisations (ministry, Embassy, municipalities), followed by ten years at a Dutch traffic consultancy firm, before moving back to the public sector. Currently she is employed at the Smart Mobility team of Forum Virium Helsinki, the innovation company of the City of Helsinki, Finland. Renske is project coordinator of the 8M€ cross-European FABULOS project on automated shuttles for public transportation in cities. In this Pre-Commercial Procurement project, 6 procuring authorities and 16 companies cooperate.
Renske managed and participated in European projects related to e.g. bike sharing, sustainable commuting through gamification, quality monitoring in public transport, Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan development and, currently, automated public transport for last-mile transit.

Forum Virium Helsinki (FVH) is the City of Helsinki innovation company with a staff of around 50 experts. Its mission is to make Helsinki the most functional smart city in the world. FVH builds bridges between the public and the private sector by working with companies, universities, other public sector organizations and Helsinki residents. We foster a culture of experimentation.
We solve public sector problems but the solutions are often developed by private companies and residents. The FABULOS project (fabulos.eu) is a good example and one of the 30+ projects FVH has ongoing. In FABULOS, six procuring partners, with FVH as Lead Procurer, are collectively funding R&D for the prototyping and testing of smart systems that are capable of operating fleets of automated shuttle buses in urban environments as part of existing public transportation.
Nicole Kalms is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design and founding director of the XYX Lab which leads national research in Space, Gender and Communication. In this role, Kalms is leading two significant research projects Urban Exposure: Interactively Mapping the Systems of Sexual Violence in Cites and Women and Girls Only: Understanding the Spaces of Sexual Harassment in Public Transport. These projects are in partnerships with state, national and international stakeholders.

The Monash University XYX Lab is a team of experienced design researchers exploring gender-sensitive design practices and theory. Our work operates at the intersection of gender, identity, urban space, and advocacy. Through our research, we bring together planners, policymakers, local government and stakeholders to make tangible the experiences of underrepresented communities in urban space and planning.
Adela Spulber is the City Relations/Business Development Manager at Daimler Mobility Services. In this role, she focuses on fostering relationships with cities and other public agencies to prepare the deployment of autonomous mobility services. Adela previously conducted research on shared mobility, autonomous and connected vehicles, and smart cities as a transportation analyst at the Center for Automotive Research (Ann Arbor, USA). Adela was also a project coordinator at the Cross-border Operational Mission (Paris, France), where her focus areas included cross-border economic development and public transit. Adela received a master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning and a bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences and European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris in France. She is fluent in several languages, including English, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Mohamed Mezghani has been working for more than 30 years in public transport and urban mobility related fields. He is the Secretary General of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) since 1/01/2018. Until then, he was the Deputy Secretary General of UITP (2014-2017), Knowledge Director (2001-2006) chairing the department developing knowledge-related services for UITP members, and Senior Manager (1999-2001). From 2006 till 2013, he worked as independent consultant and Adviser to UITP on several technical assistance and training projects in Africa and the Middle-East. Before joining UITP, M. Mezghani worked as consultant in the French group, BCEOM, (from 1990 to 1999) and in the French Agency for Environment and Energy Management, ADEME, (from 1988-1990). He graduated in Industrial Engineering (1987) from Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis, Tunisia and has a Master in Transport (1988) from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris, France.

After studying Law at the University of Bonn and at LSE, where he also obtained his PhD on Corporate Governance, Tom became the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Germany’s largest state-owned bank. In 2008, he was appointed Member of the Executive Board of Witten/Herdecke University. He is also a board member of the German Startups Association, representing the Association’s ‘Future Mobility’ task force, a member of the ‘Young Digital Economy Board’ at the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, and serves on other boards, including for global tier-1 supplier ZF Friedrichshafen and the automotive association VDA.

coordination in Luxembourg for the whole bus, train and tramway network.
Mark is CEO RoadBotics, an AI platform for assessing roads and roadways infrastructure. He was Executive Chairman of kWantix, a quant hedge fund, CEO of kWantera, a GE Ventures-backed energy trading company and CEO of Think Through Learning, a venture-backed online tutoring company and US Managing Director of ANGLE Technology PLC, a UK-based venture capital firm and consultancy.
Earlier in his career, Mark was the Director of Government Relations for Texas Instruments and held policy positions as a Senior Policy Analyst in The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in the Administration of George H. Nicola Kane is Head of Strategic Planning and Research at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and spends most of her time thinking about what the future might hold, as her team works to develop and deliver a new long-term transport strategy for Greater Manchester, covering the period to 2040 (www.tfgm.com/2040). Nicola is a chartered town planner (MRTPI) and qualified transport planning professional (TPP), and joined TfGM in 2014 after 15 years of working in consultancy. She has wide-ranging experience in transport strategy and policy development and travel behaviour change. She’s now enjoying the opportunity to help shape the future of transport in Greater Manchester. Nicola was awarded “Transport Planner of the Year” by Transport Planning Society in 2017 for her work in leading Greater Manchester’s 2040 Transport Strategy.
Tiit Laiksoo graduated from the Tallinn Marine College and Marketing Institute. After years as a captain’s mate and wine importer, he started working for Tallinn City Government in 2005 in the Transport Department. He has been Site Manager of CIVITAS projects such as SMILE and MIMOSA and for the H2020 projects CREATE and FLOW. He is Head of Ticketing Division since 2014. He is now working on the introduction of a new E-ticketing project under the Interreg Central Baltic programme.
Laurent PROBST is a former student of Ecole Polytechnique and holder of a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics. He served the French central State as transport expert for more than 10 years, specialised in funding and financing issues and then was a deputy director in charge of conceded motorway network management. He also was an adviser to Île-de-France Region President and former minister Valérie PECRESSE for more than 3 years before he was appointed as Managing Director of Île-de-France Mobilités in March 2016.
Srikanth Iyengar is the Group Chief Executive – Europe, reporting directly to Ashok Vemuri. Iyengar and his leadership team are responsible for developing and executing our strategic roadmap for growth in Europe. A highly regarded industry executive, Iyengar has a strong track record of driving growth and operational excellence. He joined Conduent from Capgemini, where he was a member of the Group Executive Committee and Group Sales Officer, responsible for annual global sales bookings of more than Euro 13B. He also had direct oversight of Capgemini’s strategic global accounts, with annual revenues in excess of Euro 2B. He was a board member of Capgemini Canada and the company’s Innovation Exchange Steering Committee. Prior to Capgemini, Iyengar was the head of Europe and APAC at iGATE, responsible for 20 percent of iGATE’s revenue and more than 8,000 employees. He actively participated in the merger of Capgemini and iGate, leading post-merger integration across Europe and APAC. His career also includes working at Infosys, where he served as the regional head of Europe for the company’s Financial Services sector and as the Head of the UK. Iyengar is an established thought leader and speaker, and has been quoted in leading publications, including The Financial Times and Management Today, on a broad range of leadership and management topics. He is based in London and was previously a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’s India Business Forum in the UK, and of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP)’s Regional Advisory Board.

Now working in innovation for better mobility in cities, she joined the VOI team this spring to develop the company’s public policy strategy in France and Italy.

Riccardo Calabrò is Director of Product Marketing at Qualcomm, and is in charge of the company’s automotive telematics business for the European market. His current responsibilities include helping customers to define next generation connected cars, thanks to the introduction of new key technologies such as 5G and C-V2X (cellular vehicle-to-everything). In the last 15 years, Riccardo has been working with automotive industry players such as car makers, Tier 1/2 suppliers, and various other entities in the automotive ecosystem. He helped to bring internet connectivity and safety features such as eCall and ERA Glonass to vehicles on the road. Riccardo has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry working with companies across the telecoms, IoE and automotive value chains, including wireless and wireline service providers and equipment manufacturers. He has an in-depth knowledge of the wireless market and has held various roles in R&D departments and marketing functions, and his experience and expertise includes business strategy, technology strategy development, product/project management and marketing, as well as service delivery. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Riccardo worked for companies including Siemens, Marconi Mobile, Allied Telesys and Navigon. He has been responsible for developing 3G and 4G products, plus network, handset, CPE, IoE and automotive devices. Mr. Calabrò has a master’s degree in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering from Genoa University, Italy.
Thomas Wolf has been supporting the HaCon management team as Chief Operating Officer HAFAS since 2016. With diplomas in Computer Engineering and Business Economics, he started his career at Hewlett Packard as Project Manager, followed by his COO position at Höft & Wessel AG. Before joining HaCon, Thomas worked for three years as COO for INIT Inc., operating out of Seattle, Washington, gaining extensive knowledge of the North American market. Headquartered in Hanover, Germany, HaCon provides cutting-edge software solutions for public transportation, mobility and logistics.
As a registered European lawyer with over 12 years of experience in Contract and Commercial Law, Krasina has headed an international legal department in a law firm, having to deal with various civil and international matters. Then she became a sole-practitioner, focused mainly in Contract, Commercial and Company Law, whilst co-founding a construction business in Belgium. As Head of Legal at a million dollar ad-tech company, she discovered her passion around Data protection, Privacy and Smart legal agreements. Being part of the Company Secretariat team in Associated British Ports gave her an additional layer of Corporate Governance expertise.

Grégoire Bonnat is the founder and CEO of Padam. He graduated from the France’s highest-ranked science and engineering university Ecole Polytechnique in Electrical Engineering and Entrepreneurship. During his studies, he started from scratch and led for a year a project to design and build a nanosatellite for science purposes. It was being selected for the international QB50 project, a satellite launched from International Space Station in 2017, becoming the first French functional satellite built by students. Following an acceleration program for tech entrepreneurs with Polytechnique and UC Berkeley, Grégoire co-founded Padam to build the next generation of shared transport services, flexible and user-centric, using the latest technologies.
Born in 1975, Alexandre Missoffe is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence, ESSEC Business School, and the Institute of Advanced Studies on Urban Planning and Development. After a few years as consultant in economic intelligence followed by the creation in 2006 of a monitoring and internet communication company, he was asked in 2009 by Christian Blanc to join his cabinet and participate in the Grand Paris project. In 2010, he joined the Société du Grand Paris, where he served for 4 years as Director of the Cabinet of the Chairman of the Management Board. In 2014, he joined the Transdev group where he will be project manager at the France Division and then project director in the innovation department. In March 2017, he became Managing Director of the Greater Paris Investment Agency.
Caroline Parot is Europcar Mobility Group’s CEO, a major player in mobility markets and listed on Euronext Paris. She joined the Group in 2011 and was appointed CFO in march 2012. In 2016, she was appointed CEO of Europcar Group, renamed Europcar Mobility Group in May 2018, to reflect the transformation of the Group. Helena Molin Valdés is the head of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) Secretariat at the UN Environment office in Paris, a position that she’s held since 2013. Helena is an experienced leader within the UN system. She was a senior executive with the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), where she led work on resilience, disaster risk reduction, sustainable development, and climate change related topics. Juliette Antoine-Simon is Managing Director of SODETREL. SODETREL is a fully owned subsidiary of EDF, which operates charging infrastructure and mobility services such as car sharing services with fully electric vehicles. Graduated from Supélec, the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and a degree in law, Juliette has had the opportunity to collaborate as a project engineer and contract manager on major projects of production and trading for the EDF Group. From 1997 – 1998 he was in charge of establishing Audi in Argentina. In 1999 Andy moved to Toyota Motor Europe headquarters in Brussels as head of marketing for Lexus in Central Europe. In 2004 he took over the responsibility for marketing, public relations and business development for the Toyota Formula 1 team in Cologne. From September 1, 2011 till December 2016, Andy was Head of the Toyota Group Representative Office in Berlin in charge of Governmental Affairs and advanced technology programs – including hydrogen – for Toyota in Germany, with the additionally assignment as, Head of Press and PR at Toyota Deutschland GmbH in Cologne as of September 1, 2013 till November 2014. As of January 1 2017, Andy is the General Manager of Toyota Mobility Foundation – Europe.
