Silvia was born in Venice, Italy, and studied German and Russian Literature and History of Art at Venice University Ca’ Foscari, FU-Berlin and RGGU Moscow. In 2005 and 2006 she worked for the Marketing Department of the Opera House La Fenice and in 2007 she joined the Department of Education and Promotion at the Venice Biennale. In 2008 she moved to Paris where she obtained a postgraduate degree at the European School of Management – ESCP Paris. Before joining Autonomy in 2015 as a Head of Partnerships, she worked at the French Institute in Paris as a Coordinator of the Visual Arts Programme for the French-Russian Year 2010, as Gallery Director at Paris’ Baudoin Lebon Gallery and for the South-African event company Artlogic as Curator of the FNB Joburg Art Fair 2013 and 2014.
