Autonomy Mobility Start up Challenge – Terms & Conditions

This page sets out the rules of the Autonomy Mobility Startup Challenge. It constitutes a binding agreement between the company applying to the Autonomy Mobility Startup Challenge (the “Applicant”) and Autonomy.

  1. Organizer

The Autonomy Mobility Startup Challenge is organised by Autonomy, a French company (SAS) headquartered in Paris.

  1. Applications

The Autonomy Mobility Startup Challenge recognizes startups that are bringing new innovations and enabling transformations in the Mobility solutions industry. It is open to startups of less than 7 years old presenting projects, products, solutions, ideas or prototypes or solutions focusing on any of the 7 sub-sectors of the Mobility ecosystem.

The text of all applications will be referred to by the Autonomy team. The Autonomy Team reserves the right to reject any submission that does not meet its evaluation criteria. The inclusion of the application in the Challenge will also be dependent upon:

  1. The submission of the application by the official deadlines;
  2. The content of the application;
  3. The company representative who will be present the pitch
  4. Startups may only submit themselves for up to 2 sub-sectors but the presented solutions should be distinct
  5. Selection process

A prestigious jury composed of investors, incubators and partners of Autonomy will review and select the best projects. The Jury can change during the process. The jury deliberations will be confidential. All decisions of the jury are final and cannot be appealed. Team reserves the right to ask for any clarification or additional information about the submitted entries. Key dates:

  • September 15, 2022:  Registration opens and submission of applications
  • November 15, 2022 :  Registration closes
  • February 1, 2023 :      Announcement of finalists
  • March 22-23, 2023:   Pitch competition during Autonomy Paris
  • 8 Winners announcement (jury – 7 categories + public Vote)
  1. Data

In order to review the applications, Autonomy will collect the Applicant’s data. By accepting the terms and conditions, the Applicant allows Autonomy to use the data in the context of the challenge, both for its organization and promotion. The Applicants allows Autonomy to send their application file and Data to the jury members in order for them to review and assess their application. Autonomy is authorised to publish the logos of participants online and onsite and to announce the finalists.

  1. Confidentiality

Autonomy guarantees the Applicant the full confidentiality of all information communicated during the Startup Challenge and ensures that the jury will maintain the same level of confidentiality. Main jury members will have access to all datas and infos of all candidates.

  1. Cancellation of the Challenge

Autonomy may cancel the Challenge at any time. If so, applicants will be informed by email.

  1. Costs

All costs relating to participation, including travel, accommodation and subsistence will be covered by the applicant.

  1. Costs and travel processes

To enter your submission, the applicant needs to fill in the form available online. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Autonomy website and must conform to the terms and conditions. The form and all complementary information will have to be filled out entirely in English. No applications in any other languages will be accepted. The Autonomy Team reserves the right to ask for any clarification or additional information about the submitted entries.
