Autonomy is launching its « Funding the movement » program dedicated to startups specialized in new mobility
Autonomy is a French, Paris-based company focused on improving the way we move in cities. The company is launching today the call for startups for its Funding the Movement program, which is dedicated to startups specialized in new mobilities.
By the end of the call for startups in July, 100 startups will have been selected to exhibit in the Startup District during the next edition of Autonomy, to be held in Paris from the 18th to 20th October 2018. In September, Autonomy and its partners will select 25 of the most promising startups and invite them to pitch their projects to potential investors on stage during Autonomy.
Funding the Movement is focused on helping mobility startups secure investments from around the globe and is an opportunity for startups to meet investors, venture capitalists, incubators and big innovative players looking for open innovation projects in the transport and mobility sectors.
All startups committed to the future of mobility are invited to submit a Funding the Movement application directly on Autonomy’s website.
The Funding the Movement program is supported by the EU Startup Prize for Mobility and Urban US.
“We are glad that the startups we have curated through our European Startup Prize for mobility participate in Funding the Movement. It is indeed an exciting opportunity for them to meet investors from all over the world, and connect with innovative big mobility companies.” Karima Delli, Member of the European Parliament, Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Transport and Tourism Committee
“I was recently part of the jury of the European Startup Prize for mobility in Brussels, and once again, was impressed with the talent represented there, and with the services that new mobility startups can offer. But in order for them to reach their goals, startups need investors, and this is what we want to do at Autonomy with our Funding the Movement program: get funders and founders under the same roof to do business. At Autonomy, we are proud to be part of the movement by connecting investors with ambitious and innovative mobility-themed companies.” Ross Douglas, CEO and founder of Autonomy.
