The workshop seeks to promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge between European and Latin American cities about road safety policies regarding freight transport. Main topics to be discussed are how do cities organize their road safety policy and relationship with cargo transport companies; requirements, benefits, regulations and technologies for safe cargo; network management; management of road safety challenges related to delivery and e-commerce; promotion of the use of smaller vehicles and active mobility for last mile delivery.
