Srikanth Iyengar is the Group Chief Executive – Europe, reporting directly to Ashok Vemuri. Iyengar and his leadership team are responsible for developing and executing our strategic roadmap for growth in Europe. Mohamed Mezghani has been working for more than 30 years in public transport and urban mobility related fields. He is the Secretary General of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) since 1/01/2018. Until then, he was the Deputy Secretary General of UITP (2014-2017), Knowledge Director (2001-2006) chairing the department developing knowledge-related services for UITP members, and Senior Manager (1999-2001). From 2006 till 2013, he worked as independent consultant and Adviser to UITP on several technical assistance and training projects in Africa and the Middle-East. Before joining UITP, M. Mezghani worked as consultant in the French group, BCEOM, (from 1990 to 1999) and in the French Agency for Environment and Energy Management, ADEME, (from 1988-1990). He graduated in Industrial Engineering (1987) from Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis, Tunisia and has a Master in Transport (1988) from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris, France.

Currently she is employed at the Smart Mobility team of Forum Virium Helsinki, the innovation company of the City of Helsinki, Finland. Renske is project coordinator of the 8M€ cross-European FABULOS project on automated shuttles for public transportation in cities. In this Pre-Commercial Procurement project, 6 procuring authorities and 16 companies cooperate.

Forum Virium Helsinki (FVH) is the City of Helsinki innovation company with a staff of around 50 experts. Its mission is to make Helsinki the most functional smart city in the world. FVH builds bridges between the public and the private sector by working with companies, universities, other public sector organizations and Helsinki residents. We foster a culture of experimentation.
We solve public sector problems but the solutions are often developed by private companies and residents. The FABULOS project (fabulos.eu) is a good example and one of the 30+ projects FVH has ongoing. In FABULOS, six procuring partners, with FVH as Lead Procurer, are collectively funding R&D for the prototyping and testing of smart systems that are capable of operating fleets of automated shuttle buses in urban environments as part of existing public transportation.

In the last 15 years, Riccardo has been working with automotive industry players such as car makers, Tier 1/2 suppliers, and various other entities in the automotive ecosystem. He helped to bring internet connectivity and safety features such as eCall and ERA Glonass to vehicles on the road. Riccardo has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry working with companies across the telecoms, IoE and automotive value chains, including wireless and wireline service providers and equipment manufacturers. He has an in-depth knowledge of the wireless market and has held various roles in R&D departments and marketing functions, and his experience and expertise includes business strategy, technology strategy development, product/project management and marketing, as well as service delivery. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Riccardo worked for companies including Siemens, Marconi Mobile, Allied Telesys and Navigon. He has been responsible for developing 3G and 4G products, plus network, handset, CPE, IoE and automotive devices. Grégoire Bonnat is the founder and CEO of Padam. He graduated from the France’s highest-ranked science and engineering university Ecole Polytechnique in Electrical Engineering and Entrepreneurship. During his studies, he started from scratch and led for a year a project to design and build a nanosatellite for science purposes. It was being selected for the international QB50 project, a satellite launched from International Space Station in 2017, becoming the first French functional satellite built by students. Following an acceleration program for tech entrepreneurs with Polytechnique and UC Berkeley, Grégoire co-founded Padam to build the next generation of shared transport services, flexible and user-centric, using the latest technologies.
Born in 1975, Alexandre Missoffe is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence, ESSEC Business School, and the Institute of Advanced Studies on Urban Planning and Development. After a few years as consultant in economic intelligence followed by the creation in 2006 of a monitoring and internet communication company, he was asked in 2009 by Christian Blanc to join his cabinet and participate in the Grand Paris project. In 2010, he joined the Société du Grand Paris, where he served for 4 years as Director of the Cabinet of the Chairman of the Management Board. In 2014, he joined the Transdev group where he will be project manager at the France Division and then project director in the innovation department. In March 2017, he became Managing Director of the Greater Paris Investment Agency.

Eric Petit created Ecologie Logistique, which brings a knowledge of all the actors of the transport, and brings their subjects near the decision-makers of the trade, the legislator and the government and, which develops an approach with the scientific community on the modeling of the urban flows, prerequisite for the changes that are coming. Ralf Frisch has been working at PTV GROUP for more than 15 years in total and in varying roles gaining expertise in the fields of public transport planning, ITS and sales. In 2015 he was responsible as a Regional Sales Director in the Traffic Software Department for Germany and Switzerland. He then left PTV for 1.5 years to join the company INIT SE as a key account. Since June 2016 he is back at PTV and fulfilled, at first, his role as Solution Director for public transport and now for about one year as Solution Director for MaaS – Mobility as a Service. In parallel he is responsible as a Product Owner for the development and market positioning of the product PTV MaaS Modeller. A native of Lausanne, Switzerland, Steve has received degrees from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (MS) and INSEAD (MBA). Steve began his career in finance working for more than six years in asset management and mergers & acquisitions, first at Rothschild in Geneva and then at Morgan Stanley in London. Passionate about technology, Steve next joined AppDirect, where he spent two years in Business Development between San Francisco and London leading the company’s European expansion efforts. In August 2014, Steve joined Uber’s Western Switzerland General Manager, where he successfully launched operations in Geneva and Lausanne before taking over in 2016 as GM France, Switzerland, and Austria.
Helena Molin Valdés is the head of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) Secretariat at the UN Environment office in Paris, a position that she’s held since 2013. Helena is an experienced leader within the UN system. She was a senior executive with the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), where she led work on resilience, disaster risk reduction, sustainable development, and climate change related topics. She was UNISDR’s regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean and worked with the Pan American Health Organization on hospital mitigation and disaster preparedness. Before joining the UN Helena was a practicing architect, planner, and head of a Swedish NGO based in Central America that worked on community based projects and appropriate technology development, including improved bricks production and cook stoves with the University of Lund.
Former rugbyplayer and devoted cyclist, Francesco Iacorossi has been working as a project manager at Roma Servizi per la Mobilita since 2009 within EU funded projects mainly in the field of sustainable and active mobility behaviour through the promotion of cycling and walking measures in urban areas. He has also served as a communication and dissemination strategy leader in several EU projects and initiatives such as P.A.S.T.A, ECC, Bike Challenge, and SUMP Roma. As a media sociologist, He holds a PhD in management, a degree in philosophy and is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris. He was head of the Information and Dissemination Service of the Prime Minister Michel Rocard and director of BVA, before setting up a consulting firm. He also served as Vice President of Iliad. He has taught media sociology at Sciences Po Paris. Juliette Antoine-Simon is Managing Director of SODETREL. SODETREL is a fully owned subsidiary of EDF, which operates charging infrastructure and mobility services such as car sharing services with fully electric vehicles. Graduated from Supélec, the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and a degree in law, Juliette has had the opportunity to collaborate as a project engineer and contract manager on major projects of production and trading for the EDF Group. Juliette joined the Electric Mobility Division in April 2012 and was in charge of project development.
David joined WiTricity in 2008. He is responsible for WiTricity’s global sales and business development activity. In the automotive market, David has led WiTricity’s successful strategy of IP licensing and technology transfer with leading carmakers, Tier 1s and infrastructure suppliers, establishing WiTricity as the leading technology provider for EV charging. He is a Chartered Engineer passionate about all things engineering, having previously worked for DuPoint, Nissan and ICI. He is married with three daughters and lives near Marlow. Will is the Chair of The Vibrant Economy Commission, Trustee of the Education and Employer charity, Trustee of Investors in People as well as being a Commissioner for the UKCES from 2013-16. Andy Fuchs holds a degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing and International Management from the University of Mannheim. He began his career as a trainee at Audi in Ingolstadt, then held various positions in sales and marketing for the regions of Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, UK and Spain. From 1997 – 1998 he was in charge of establishing Audi in Argentina. In 1999 Andy moved to Toyota Motor Europe headquarters in Brussels as head of marketing for Lexus in Central Europe. In 2004 he took over the responsibility for marketing, public relations and business development for the Toyota Formula 1 team in Cologne. From September 1, 2011 till December 2016, Andy was Head of the Toyota Group Representative Office in Berlin in charge of Governmental Affairs and advanced technology programs – including hydrogen – for Toyota in Germany, with the additionally assignment as, Head of Press and PR at Toyota Deutschland GmbH in Cologne as of September 1, 2013 till November 2014. As of January 1 2017, Andy is the General Manager of Toyota Mobility Foundation – Europe.

Thomas Chrétien began his professional career at Nissan 12 years ago before joining Ford to work in marketing and to gain his first experience in the field. Two years later he joined Alfa Romeo, where he remained for four years, working first in the field and then as Product Manager. He rejoined Nissan Europe West in 2012, spending 3 years as the Product Manager for Juke & Sports and in 2015 took over as the Head of the Electric and Sports range. Thomas is currently the Director of Electric Vehicles and Ecosystem at Nissan West Europe.
Isabella Burczak is the Head of Advocacy and Mass Events for the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), responsible for the development and implementation of UCI’s initiatives and partnerships with regard to the promotion of cycling for all. She collaborates with cities and regions, national federations, NGOs and various cycling advocacy organisations worldwide to promote the growth of cycling as both an everyday recreational activity and healthy form of transport, while also focusing on strategies to ensure elite cycling can drive and inspire wider participation. She also manages the UCI’s mass participation strategy, which includes the UCI Gran Fondo World Series and UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. Before joining the UCI in January 2017, Isabella worked for 10 years for the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, in a number of operational and strategic roles related to the delivery of all sports at the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.

Passionate about tech and emerging trends, his love for digital led him from being the almost-co-founder of 55 (a data agency) to Google, where he currently is the Industry Manager in charge of Mobility clients. When he’s not riding his racing green folding bike in the (dangerous) streets of Paris, he works closely with Auto Manufacturers, Car rental companies and mobility Pure-Players, helping them accelerate on their Digital Transformation.
Jean-Marc started his career in 1980 with Matra Transport, the metro driverless pioneer, and acquired large international experience in safety and automation public transport systems (VAL, ARAMIS, MAGGALY, CIVIS). He joined ALSTOM Transport in 2001 and improves his knowledge into other and international transport cultures and needs. Following autonomous shuttle vehicle Alstom investment in January 2017 he became Solution Director Autonomous Shuttle Systems, in charge of developing this new business.
Anna is an Innovation Strategy Officer at Transport for Greater Manchester. Anna leads on autonomous vehicle projects including Project Synergy http://synergy-cav.com/ and the recent successful proposal for Project LEVITATE. There are many common themes across these two projects that will ultimately support TfGM to outline a Greater Manchester Strategy for Connected and Autonomous vehicles. Her aim is to enable the Innovation team’s project portfolio to grow and develop key links and partnerships with international partners that are mutually beneficial for all parties and support TfGM in delivering their 2040 Transport Strategy.
Solon is a researcher at the Manchester Metropolitan University. Previously, he graduated with a Master of Architecture with the CPU Master atelier at the Manchester School of Architecture. He is interested in the prospect of using digital tools to understand and model the development of cities. With the use of complexity theory as a guide and data as fuel, he seeks to reach an informed state that allows for the accurate use of positive design interventions to enhance the natural progression of the urban realm. His PhD research topic is ‘Combining market led economic modeling and urban spatial modeling’.
Sigita is a researcher at the Manchester Metropolitan University. She works within Complexity, Planning and Urbanism research cluster having previously graduated with a Master of Architecture. Her research interests are concerned with socio-technical processes with a particular focus on future mobility technology and sustainability in cities. Parallel to her work as a research assistant on Innovate UK Project Synergy, she is also a PhD student. Her PhD research topic is ‘Autonomous Vehicles and Socio-Technical Transitions’.
Lisa is Senior Policy Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), the local government body responsible for delivering Greater Manchester’s transport strategy and commitments: https://www.tfgm.com/. Lisa is part of a team from TfGM, Manchester City Council and Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council working on the policy aspects of the Innovate UK funded project ‘Synergy’. Lisa has a PhD in public sector innovation management and conducted research on innovation policy development and implementation across Europe whilst working at the University of Manchester.

Prior to joining NIU, Joseph co-founded five technology and service companies in his fifteen years living in greater China.

Ces travaux lui ont également permis d’être nommé parlementaire en mission par le Premier ministre sur la question de l’exploitation des véhicules utilitaires légers. Ainsi particulièrement engagé en faveur du développement des transports afin de favoriser la mobilité de tous, il a été désigné Président du groupe d’études « Véhicules terrestres » et Vice-président du groupe d’études « Route et sécurité routière ».
Danielle works across the business and technology teams of HSBC to represent the bank on Digital and Innovation with Corporate, Institutional and Governmental clients. She is building a series of ecosystems to help the bank and the market move to a new cross sector way of working. The focus of this is to facilitate the growth of Smart Cities across developed and emerging countries, using technology and partnerships to bring new product solutions, and investment opportunities. Prior to this, Danielle worked in the HSBC Global Banking Management Office covering Business Development for Europe and Africa. She started her career in Law at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal, and later moved into Equity Capital Markets at N+1 Group. Danielle holds an LLB, and is pursuing an MSt at Cambridge University. She was recognised in the Innovate Finance “Women in Fintech 2017 Power List,” and is the Vice President on Digital Innovation at the G-20Y Association.
Manuel Marsilio is the General Manager of CONEBI – the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry. Based in Brussels, CONEBI represents the interests of the European Bicycle, Pedal-Assist E-Bike and Parts & Accessories Industries before the EU Institutions. Manuel is also representative of the newly founded WBIA – World Bicycle Industry Association – in the context of both the World Forum for the Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations and the Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety organised by the United Nations. Manuel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and a Master’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations.
Thierry Willemarck has been the CEO of the Touring Club Belgium (TCB) since 2001. He was President of the FIA Region I from 2013 to 2017, when he was invited by Jean Todt to join his team as FIA Deputy President for Automobile Mobility and Tourism. A Member of the FIA World Council of Automobile Mobility and Tourism since 2005, Mr Willemarck is also President of the FIA Audit Committee and President of the Alliance Internationale de Tourisme (AIT). Prior to joining the TCB, he held different management positions during a 21-year career, including as CEO of subsidiaries at Conoco Phillips. A trained Industrial Engineer, Mr Willemarck also holds a PhD in Business and Administration, a Harvard University MBA, as well as a degree in Program Management Development at MIT.
Philippe Crist is an Administrator and Project Manager at the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). He coordinates the research of the ITF’s Corporate Partnership Board and manages international research projects for the ITF’s 57 Member countries. His current work addresses disruptive urban mobility scenarios and examines how active mobility, public transport and taxi markets must adapt to these. He is also leading work on Big Data within the ITF and investigating new strategies to leverage knowledge derived from new and rapidly growing data sources to improve transport decision-making. His other work currently looks at managing mobility in rapidly growing urban areas, assessing GHG emission strategies in the transport sector, as well as investigating national transport asset and network management strategies. A French-American dual national, he is an ex-competitive cyclist and avid mushroom hunter.
Avichai Bakst, is part of one of Google’s most recent acquisitions, WAZE, the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app with over 100M active users. He’s a veteran in the digital eco system with over 11 years of experience across multiple companies. Avichai joined Waze 6 years ago, earlier this year he joined the Partnerships’ Business Development Team, and is now heading their strategic partnerships across EMEA. One of his main responsibilities is engaging with Municipalities and Departments of Transportation in the efforts to facilitate with the reduction of traffic in local metros and their arteries. Alexandra Dublanche is Vice President of Paris Region, in charge of Economic Development, Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Alain De Taeye is a member of TomTom’s Management Board. Lauded as the ‘man who rocked the mapping world,’ Alain graduated as engineer-architect from Ghent University, and has since dedicated his career to the digitisation of maps and routing. Alain founded IT consultancy, Informatics & Management Consultants (I&M), which, in 1989, was integrated into the Dutch Tele Atlas group which he eventually headed. At Tele Atlas, Alain focused the firm on the digitalisation and commercialisation of geospatial content, and successfully introduced the company to the Frankfurt and Amsterdam stock exchanges. In 2008, TomTom acquired Tele Atlas and Alain joined the Management Board. Taeye’s vision and leadership at TomTom has brought consistency in the company’s geospatial content strategy, offering new dimensions and innovations including the introduction of TomTom’s High Definition map and streaming technologies for a future of autonomous driving.
As an elected ecologist, Brigitte Desveaux is the 2nd Vice President of the Communauté d’Agglomération de La Rochelle, in charge of transportation and mobility. Brigitte also serves as City Counselor of La Rochelle, and is President of the Rochelais Collective Transport Region (RTCR).
Christophe Gay places at the heart of his reflection the questions of imagination, representation, and how social norms come to represent lifesyle, particularly those concerning mobility in our current and future society. It is for this reason that Christophe helped to create the Mobile Lives Forum (Forum Vies Mobile) in partnership with SNCF. Christophe’s educational background is in international law, political science, and psychosociology (Sceaux, Sorbonne, and Nanterre).
Loïs works as a Manager of Market Development at Hubject. She is developing Hubject’s partnerships and strategic alliances in the field of eRoaming for customer friendly and interoperable charging of electric vehicles as well as for Hubject’s new ISO 15118 ecosystem to enable Plug&Charge. Prior to Hubject she worked in the public transport industry.
Andrew Grant is an Intelligent Mobility analyst at Bloomberg New Energy Finance. He produces analysis on business models, technologies and policies related to connected cars, mobility services and autonomous driving. Andrew works with automakers, utilities, technology companies and investors to understand the role of data in the future of transportation. He is based in London and holds an MSc in Applied Economics and a Bachelor of Business Science in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
Ms. Pallas manages regional expansion in Europe for Scoot, as well as government relations and public affairs. She previously held increasingly senior roles in marketing, strategic relations, operations and general management for Hailo and mytaxi. Civil Engineer, holds a Master degree from IESE Business School.
Annie is a Project Manager for Global Ground Vehicle Standards at SAE International. She manages SAE’s research and standards portfolio on shared mobility, road safety, and accessibility. Prior to SAE, Annie led research and outreach activities on shared mobility at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America. She was also a Transportation Engineer for the World Resources Institute, where she managed health and road safety research as well as monitoring and evaluation efforts in low- and middle-income countries. Annie holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering from McGill University.
Victoria Markewitz is part of the European Business Development team of Via Transportation and ViaVan, the joint venture between Mercedes-Benz Vans and Via, based in Berlin. She is responsible for driving the launch of Via and ViaVan’s licensing partnerships with European and Middle Eastern public transport operators and cities. Prior to Via, Victoria worked as a management consultant for Roland Berger in the Transportation Competence Center, both in Germany and the Middle East, consulting clients on innovative mobility solutions and strategies. Victoria graduated from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a Master in Management degree.
Neil is a freelance CFO and Advisor for growth companies at Tailored Partners and a contributor to the Urban Mobility Daily. He is a former lead equity analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York where he covered car rental and mobility stocks and helped to lead Zipcar’s $1.1 billion IPO. He was also an equity analyst at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers and began his career at a boutique investment bank advising on M&A deals and high yield debt financings. He built his operational skills both as a startup founder and as the CFO of an East Africa-focused impact investment firm. He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Management Accountant and received his MBA from the University of South Carolina.
Caroline Cerfontaine joined UITP, the International Association of Public Transport, in 2006. As Senior Manager she is the UITP expert for combined mobility and autonomous vehicles. She manages the UITP Combined Mobility Commission that brings together international mobility experts and looks at how to develop synergies between public transport and other sustainable mobility services such as car-sharing, cycling, bike-sharing, taxis, and ride-sharing, with the aim of providing better mobility options to citizens that offer a real alternative to private car ownership.
Jean-François Dhinaux is Head of Strategic Marketing and Synergies at Via ID, a start-up accelerator focused on new mobility (Mobivia Groupe – Norauto/Midas/ATU). Passionate about useful innovations serving the customer experience, Jean-François has previously led the sales and digital transformation of several brands and groups. Avery Ash serves as Autonomous Vehicle Lead for INRIX, the global leader in connected car services and intelligent movement. Avery leads the company’s global policy engagement and helps shape business strategy in the connected car and autonomous vehicle space. Prior to INRIX, Avery served as Director of Federal Relations for AAA where he was responsible for the Association’s federal advocacy on transportation, vehicle technology, mobility and energy issues. He currently serves on the World Economic Forum’s executive working group for Autonomous and Urban Mobility. Avery is a graduate of Bowdoin College with a joint degree in Economics and Anthropology.
After almost 10 years as Head of the European Automotive Equity Research team at Barclays, Kristina is transitioning to a new role focused on Thematic investing in the field of Mobility. Her work focuses on a wide range of themes that relate to the automotive sphere but also cross sector issues, such as the rising penetration of electric vehicles (from the availability of natural resources, to the chemistry and battery capacity requirements, and to implications for oil demand). Peter Harris originally joined UPS in 1989 as an Automotive Supervisor and accepted the role of Sustainability Director for Europe in 2011. In addition to his UPS responsibilities, Peter is also a director of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership, a public-private entity in the UK whose purpose is to accelerate the shift to low carbon vehicles and fuels. Prior to UPS Peter worked for 4 years with London Transport and 2 years as a volunteer agricultural engineer in Indonesia. Peter is the holder of a Masters degree in Engineering from Cambridge University, UK. He is also a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE).

He managed major infrastructure projects in the railway and the telecoms industry in various countries including the United States, Greece and Indonesia. He then created and grew several worldwide businesses within the Orange Group, such as network integration and cybersecurity services. In 2015 he joined the Keolis Group and created Kisio, the pioneer of “responsive locomotion.” Kisio, with its 700 employees, provides digital solutions, consulting and operational services to most regional and urban PTAs in France.

Dr. Michael Barillère-Scholz has been Managing Director at ioki since 2017 – the new business line for Demand Responsive Transport, Mobility Analytics and Autonomous Driving of Deutsche Bahn. His special passions are sustainable mobility of tomorrow as well as agile, employee-centered organizational development. With his team at ioki, he brings digital mobility solutions on the streets. At the same time, he is currently being trained as a “Self Driving Car Engineer” at the Silicon Valley.
Damien Bon is Chief Executive Officer at Stuart, where he leads global business strategy and implementation. After holding a leadership position at Boston Consulting Group for three years, he dove headfirst into the startup world with Stuart, where he helped drive the company’s growth and ultimate acquisition by GeoPost. Damien has a master’s degree from Columbia University, an MBA from INSEAD, and started his career with Lehman Brothers in 2007. Previously she has been working for the European Parliament and the Finnish Ministry of Transport & Communications. She has been working her whole career in different positions related to transport mainly with transport strategies, ITS, Mobility as a Service, policymaking and EU regulation. She holds a Master of Science in Economics.
Giles Bailey is an insightful thinker about business and societal challenges and the resulting need for organisational change. This is particularly in the mobility sector as well as the wider public sector. The basis for this experience is his 25 year career at Transport for London and in consulting in North America and Europe. He now applies this knowledge, via being a Director at Stratageeb Ltd, in areas such as strategic and innovation advice to businesses including digital start-ups, multi-nationals, local authorities, other public sector organisations and governments. He also university lectures, speaks at conferences and writes for the UK and international transport press. Giles Bailey is currently the CEO and Director of International Relations at the TravelSpirit Foundation and has worked with the foundation since its inception in 2016.
Currently a Policy Advisor at FiveAI, Leon Daniels was the Managing Director, Surface Transport at TfL where until December 2017 was responsible for delivering £3.5bn of road, light rail and transport services and all major, civil engineering infrastructure projects in the capital. He was also responsible for the successful delivery of transport during the ‘most successful public transport games ever’ in London 2012. He remains a Trustee of the London Transport Museum. Prior to joining TfL, in 1998 Leon had sold his own venture-capital backed business to a FTSE 100, multinational transport business, creating the largest and most profitable operating unit within this £3bn turnover organisation. Leon Daniels is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport, an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Couriers and a Member of the Court of the Worshipful Company of Carmen.
Karen Vancluysen was appointed as Secretary General of Polis Network in September 2014, after having been the network’s Research Director for 8 years. Polis is the leading European network of cities and regions working together on innovative transport solutions. Prior to joining POLIS in 2004, Karen was Network Manager at ACCESS-EUROCITIES for a New Mobility Culture and project manager at Langzaam Verkeer, a Belgian centre for mobility management. Since 1998, she has been involved in European urban transport networking and policy activities and many EU research and innovation projects covering a wide range of urban mobility topics.
Dr. Doug Kaufman is an experienced leader, entrepreneur, and the CEO of TransLoc Inc, a pioneering company delivering flexible, demand-driven microtransit technology and services to cities and municipal transit agencies. Having established itself as a market leader for on-demand microtransit solutions, TransLoc was recently acquired by Ford Smart Mobility. Under Doug’s leadership, TransLoc, based in Durham, North Carolina, was named to Fast Company’s 2017 list of the most innovative companies in transportation, alongside Uber and Tesla.
Remo Gerber is Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Lilium – the Munich based aviation start-up building the world’s first all-electric air taxi. He was previously Managing Director of ground transportation disrupter Gett in the UK & Western Europe and COO of Groupon – the e-commerce marketplace – in Northern Europe. Born in Zürich, Remo is a physicist from ETH Zurich and has a PhD from the University of Oxford. Remo is a keen skier and likes to escape to the slopes of Switzerland as often as he can. He shares his time between Munich, Zurich and London, as well as continuing his mission to share the remarkable benefits the Lilium jet will bring to cities around the world.
Jacob Bangsgaard has led ERTICO – ITS Europe since January 2017. ERTICO is a multi-sector platform with 120 partners from more than 25 countries headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. From 2001-2006 he served as ERTICO’s Director of International Affairs and Communications where he was responsible for the international deployment support for ITS on markets like China, India, Russia, and Brazil. He is a Danish national with a university background in international economics and 27 years’ experience working in Brussels on transport and mobility issues. He was from 2010-2016 Director General of FIA Region I and responsible for the mobility activities of the FIA in EMEA. Jacob Bangsgaard is President of the MaaS Alliance, and was on the Board of Euro NCAP from 2010-2016 and Secretary General of the Belgian association eSafetyAware from 2009-2016.

Sean Behr is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record in creating new technology platforms that reinvent existing markets. Anne-Lise Thieblemont is Senior Director of Global Technology Policy at in the Government Affairs Department at Qualcomm Incorporated. In this role, Ms. Thieblemont is responsible internationally for policy and regulatory affairs related to new technology in the area of security and vertical market strategies including focusing on Automotive and 5G technologies like C-V2X, at the intersection between public policy, business strategy, and wireless ecosystems. Ms Thieblemont interfaces with Government economic, trade and investment agencies and Qualcomm business activities such as the Organization for Economic Co-Operation & Development (OECD). Ms. Thieblemont holds an engineering degree from Telecom ParisTech in France. She also holds a Master of Science in Fundamental Physics from Paris XI University.
Anne-Marie Idrac is a French expert of transport policies. She served as President of the RATP from 2002 to 2006, as President of SNCF from 2006 to 2008, and has held several political offices as State Secretary for Transports (1995-1997), Member of the French Parliament (1997-2002), and State Secretary for External Trade (2008-2010). In 2017 she was appointed High Representative of the French Governement for the development of autonomous vehicles. Since 2011 she has also served as Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Toulouse Blagnac Airport, Administrator of Saint Gobain, Total, Bouygues and Air France KLM, and is President of the Advisory Board of the Paris School of Public Affairs of Sciences Po. She holds a Public Administration degree from Sciences Po, a law degree from Université Paris-II, and is an alumnus of ENA.
Anne is a founder of Bestmile and as VP of Operations she supports the growth of the company and oversees the day-to-day operations. She is a civil engineer with specialization in the development of innovative transportation systems. Prior to founding Bestmile, she worked in an urban planning office in Lausanne as a Transport Engineer where she was in charge of project management for two of the first autonomous mobility projects in Europe, and developed with Raphaël Gindrat the concept of the Bestmile Mobility Services Platform. Anne holds an M.S. from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne.

She has also been Board member at Engie since 2015 and at Airbus since 2016. On August 2nd, 2017, Ms. Guillouard was appointed Chairwoman and CEO of RATP Group. She is also VP of Systra’s supervisory board, the RATP Group and SNCF joint engineering subsidiary.
